Heat Lightning by A. Knightley (Paperback)

A dark MM omegaverse romance from A. Knightley — dark, cosy and full of heat, featuring a morally grey masked vigilante alpha and the omega he’ll protect at all costs.

Max knows that having a stalker should be thrilling in a run-for-the-hills-screaming kind of way, not a lights-him-up-from-the-inside kind of way. And yet, to his great dismay, here he is — wanting to climb his big, scary, masked man like a tree. His life has always been black and white: good and bad, right and wrong. But his Masked Man revels in the grey. He kills bad guys, which should terrify Max, except it only sharpens the magnetic pull that reels him in again and again. He’s Max’s stalker, his rescuer, his alpha, and his soul’s deepest, darkest desire. And the man is keeping secrets — the kind that, once uncovered, turn out to be a matter of life and death.

The Masked Man is a hunter. A killer. He lives by a simple set of rules and never breaks them, and playing the hero has never once interested him. Until Max. From the very first moment, the omega calls to him, and his alpha aches to bite and claim. Max is his — his to hunt, his to protect, his to watch over. But never, he’s decided, his to have. So he’ll do everything in his power to keep the omega safe, even if that means longing from the shadows forever.

Heat Lightning is a non-shifter omegaverse with no Mpreg (though possible in the world). It’s a dark romance for mature readers; please check any content warnings before reading.

Perfect for readers who love dark MM omegaverse romance, a masked vigilante stalker, an obsessed morally grey alpha and a touch-him-and-die protector.
