1. Return Window

1. 1. You can request a return within 48 hours of delivery if your item arrives damaged.
   2. We do not accept returns outside this timeframe.

2. Items Eligible for Return

We accept returns in the following cases:

1. Items that arrive damaged
2. Accidental orders
3. Change of mind purchases

Items must:

1. Be unused
2. Be in original condition
3. Be returned in original packaging where possible

3. Items Not Eligible for Return

We do not accept returns for:

1. General dissatisfaction not linked to damage
2. Items reported after 48 hours from delivery
3. Items returned without contacting us first

4. How to Start a Return

To request a return, email james@libraryofjames.com with:

1. 1. Your order number
   2. Clear photos showing the damage
   3. A brief explanation of the issue
   4.  

Do not return items without approval.

5. Return Method

Approved returns must be sent using:

1. 1. Royal Mail
   2. Tracked services only
   3.  

We may ask for the item to be returned for inspection before approving a refund or replacement.

6. Return Costs

1. 1. Return postage is paid by the customer
   2. Original delivery charges are non-refundable
   3.  

If the return is approved due to damage, the return postage cost will be included in the refund.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

1. Refunds cover the cost of the goods only
2. Refunds are issued to the original payment method
3. Processing time is 5–7 working days after approval

8. Replacements

Where appropriate, we may offer:

1. A replacement item
2. A refund if a replacement is not available

This policy does not affect your rights under UK consumer law.
