Ivory by Nyla K (Paperback)

The finale of Nyla K’s Alabaster Penitentiary series — a dark MM romance that brings the whole saga to its close, combining Finale Parts 1 and 2 in a single volume.

As a frightened child, amidst screams and gunpowder, he once looked into the eyes of the devil. A finger lifted to the man’s lips: ojos abiertos, boca cerrada — eyes open, mouth shut. And El Diablo let him live. But the devil was never stupid; he knew that one day this boy would come back for his revenge. For years, trapped in the cage of a stolen existence, that is exactly what he has dreamed of, above all else. Sangre por sangre. Blood for blood.

Now a fallen kingdom of ivory lies in alabaster ruins on a burning battlefield, and at long last the wicked king kneels at his feet. With his father’s blade to the man’s throat, he can finally end it — close the book on years of misery, not just for himself, but for every last one of the devil’s prisoners. This most dreadful of creations must reach its inevitable finale. It has to. And yet, even now, a single question lingers in the air between them: do you still hate me, pajarito?

Ivory features themes that could make some readers uncomfortable, and an MC exploring his gender identity. It’s a dark romance for mature readers; please check the author’s content warnings before reading. As the series finale, it must be read in order.

Perfect for readers who love dark MM romance, an enemies-to-lovers reckoning, a years-in-the-making revenge plot — and anyone ready to see the Alabaster Penitentiary saga through to its end.
